There are 11 CETTs in England. Their role is to raise the standard of initial teacher education, and to improve the quality and consistency of continuing professional development. CETTs do this by building links and connections between organisations, supporting joint working and developing new projects to further pedagogic knowledge. This website is a central source for sharing and exchanging that information for the benefit of trainees, qualified teachers and teacher educators.
