The process of defining the qualifications required for work at all levels in the sector is a large-scale, national and long-term process. This LLUK flowchart explains the current requirements for teachers of all subjects in the further education sector. An online checklist, based on the LLUK flowchart, is offered by City and Guilds. LLUK also offers a helpline for individuals and organisations: telephone 0300 303 1877, Monday-Friday 9am to 5.30pm, or email at advice@lluk.org.
